CONTROL ROOM

Our spacious Control Room boasts a broad selection of vintage & boutique pieces and houses our industry standard Digidesign Pro Tools system with up to 18 i/o's and 48 tracks of playback with a variety of software synths and plug-ins from the likes of Propellerheads, Bomb Factory, Digidesign and Waves.

Monitoring is provide by our exceptionally detailed French made Focal Solo6Be nearfield monitors and musicians are provided with their own 'more me' mixes via our Furman HDS-6 monitoring system allowing them to dial in their own personalized mixes.

All our rooms are tied together with the highest grade Mogami cabling and Amphenol connectors and patched via Neutrik Patchbays allowing maximum flexibility while tracking and overdubbing.

VOCAL BOOTH

The smaller of our 2 rooms, primarily used for vocal work and doubles as an isolation booth when recording amplifiers.

LIVE ROOM

The larger of our 2 tracking rooms, perfect for drums and stringed instruments. Acoustically designed as a semi-live space with wooden laminate floors and a sloped/droped celling.

LOUNGE/KITCHENETTE

Chill out in our lounge while catching up on your e-mails via our WIFI equipped network. Our Kitchenette offers you the creature comforts of home and is equipped with a bar fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and freshly brewed filter coffee.

If you feel you would prefer to 'eat out' we can recommend our in house Cafe, 'La Cantina' where you can indulge in selection of cakes and sandwiches or enjoy the buffet lunch while gazing up at Table Mountain and surrounds.

THE WORKSHOP

Home to Ashton Audio, offering custom built pro audio solutions and provide on site support to Dockyard Studios.

Houses our 'noise makers', keeping the control room quiet and clutter free.
